We believe everyone has an internet password that says something about that person. It might be something small, like someones favourite color. It could be something more emotional, like someones first love. Or even just something random the person remembered when choosing the password. But whatever it is, it’s always something seemingly unforgettable to that person. Something that tells us about their character.

We wanted to find out more about these ‘hidden characters’ so in past year we hit the streets of Amsterdam to ask strangers for their internet passwords. And more importantly, to hear the stories behind them.

Incredibly, every password had a little story behind it. And every single story told us something unique, interesting, funny, odd or emotional about that person. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did.
